!FLOURISHING FLATS!

Looking for that perfect pair of shoes with a touch of elegance and a whole lot of comfort?  Well unfortunately you are not going to find that with a pair of four inch heels. Yes, with a pair of gorgeous platforms you will find everything from elegance to chic, but no amount of comfort is possible.
With heels there is certainly the possibility of finding a pair for any occasion that might arise. Say you are going out for a night on the town and you are in need of a pair of bedazzled pumps, or maybe you are in need of a pair of peep toe wedges for lunch on the terrace. Department stores are swarming with heels of any sort, but you will not find one pair that suits your needs for comfort, that’s why flats have become the best and most loved alternate.
When you think of flats, you may think of dull and lifeless but that is where you are wrong. They take comfort, elegance and practicality to the next level, they are also very adaptable. When it comes to creating an outfit for your next big event, flats make it very accessible and will accommodate your every need.
Flats are not so much trendy as they are accommodating, and they will last you a life time. Depending on the pair you purchase, be they simple or radiating with vibrant colors, you will be able to pair them with any outfit imaginable. Looking to show much of your toe cleavage? Then try a pair of gladiators, or if you would like to minimize it then invest in a ballet flat, or oxfords.
Many celebrities have also taken to the streets wearing flats. The ever so notorious Lindsey Lohan and Ms. Classy, Sarah Jessica Parker were both seen strutting the streets in their classic leather flats paired with casual day dresses. The fabulous JLo goes casual for the day in her jeans and black oxfords. Taking their choices in mind you can take a pair of oxfords and wear them with a cropped jean and a classic blazer, or possibly suede ballet flats with an embellished blouse.
Now go shopping and invest in a pair of flats that fit your style.

Faux Fur

Faux Fur
Faux Fur by Style 101 featuring lace up boots

When creating a faux fur ensamble, there are two directions you may take. Taking one larger intriging piece, like a printed faux fur coat, and pairing that with whatever you please. Another possibility may be, taking two smaller pieces containg faux fur, like a bag, and pair of shoes, or pairing those shoes with a coat with a fur collar.

Eve of Christmas

THE FABULOUS 50s

The 1950s was the first decade that modesty slowly began going out the window and when the iconic pin-up girl began to take play.
Taking the 1950s as a bit of inspiration, I put together this ensemble. Pairing a denim pencil skirt and cropped corduroy blazer with knee highs and mary janes. With that you get a touch of modesty and 50s flair all thrown into one

It is at its minimalist point without being to plane jane. With trying not to be so overdone can be somewhat difficult, but of course it is possible. If you add a bit of pizazz to your hair with an enormous bow and a broach to your collar you are good to go.
